saludos a Argentina.

I just bought a YS110 and all I have had to do so far is tune the high speed needle. I set my low needle to two an a half turns out and haven't messed with the reg. So far it has good transaction but I haven't ran but a gallon. Might have to mess with it later.

If I understand this correctly here is what you need to do

Adjust the low speed needle, 2 turns out, the top of the regulator screw should be flush with the housing or 1mm or 2mm above the housing, set the high speed neede 2 turns out.

It will be rich but will run good.

Remember that the low speed needle is an air bleed type so it has the opposite effect as most other medium to large glow engines. Turning it in (clockwise) richens it, turning it out, (counterclockwise) leans it

If you are having regulator pressure problems try the following

Make sure you have no air leaks
Make sure you have the check valve in correctly
Are you pluging both the fill line and vent lines before starting the engine

There may be a problem with the regulator itself, but usually these engines are pretty bullet proof

some people say they are hard to tune, or tempermental, but I've found that most of the problems stem from operator failure, most, but not all...

At my local field everyone says the YS engine is truly hard to run. I got the YS110 and its sweet as anything. Then another guy got the YS63 and another the YS160, all the engines are running so well. Just foollow the instructions and it will be good. Always use a fuel filter to ensure that the system is not clogged.

Muchas Gracias!! Saludos a Mexico!!

Hello Bolio, thanks to help! I finish buying a YS 110 and was reading in a forum of Spain that all what they tenian this motor tenian problem to put it to point, and parecia that the problem is with the pressure controller. One said that in the house where I buy the motor they changed this regulator to him and could complete the motor, and now walks very well. I for one week that recibi mio, todavia not it probe, but whereupon surprise I cannot be taken! I hope that it can make it walk well since I was but of 8 months hoping that it arrives at the houses of the USA to be able to request it! It is my first 4 times, I have a very good concept of the YS, since I have a 45 YS 2T and walks spectacular! it is the best motor by distant spot! I never fail myself. Thank you very much! Hi to all:
He is saying that it's his first YS and don't want to have any surprises. Some people in Spain was having some trouble with their YS 110 that were only fixed after changing the regulator.

To all: Sorry for the spanish post but I perfectly know when you ahve problems and there is no one around to help with english instructions, that´s why I learn English, to learn how to build and fly better.

Saludos.
