I am setting up my Funtana-90 and I just cannot get the elevator halves to move perfectly in sinc- I am using CH 2 & 8 on my Futaba-9C, I get them close but one seems to move slightly quicker than the other-
I have the EP adjustment dead on with my triple rates, so they are starting and ending level, but one side seems to get to full deflection before the other- I am going crazy trying to dial it in... It really is only noticeable at 140% def. but it still bothers me-
I thought expo. was the culprit but that is not it-
Whatta all think?
Thanks in advance-

Tell me something what are the centering offsets U setup in ur Radio?
Sometimes servos if there off by 1 or two teeth will do what ur describing. The end points as u know have nothing to do with the rate of throw just then final throw length.
Try moving the arms to match the rates.

Use the Ailevator option and just put the aileron % at zero. Then Flaperons for a little nicer harriers.....good luck
if you need more specifics i can give em to you. pm me, basically the ailevator option, but no aleron. simple
have fun.

Cool! Great advice EVERYONE... It is worth feeling a little stupid to get these working well-
I'll go do that right now- Ailevator...Hmmm That makes sense dialing out the Ail.
Flyjets- I matched up the angles... Is that what you mean?
Thanks again-

Wow- I was close... I had Ailevator set-up but at diff. percentages [X(]
It looks much better-
Another question- when I dial in dual rates/expo. are both servos effected the same way?
Thanks again-

I have the same problem with my 9C. It is to do with the processing of each channel, which is done in sequence i.e. 1, 2, 3, 4.....8 etc. and there is a slight delay between each channel. So when mixing channel 2 to 8 there is a delay between the two servos. Using ailevators helped a bit but not much as at the end of the day it is still mix between 2 channels.

I guess I could get a reversing "Y" and be done with it but I want flaperons/spoilerons- Seems like it is gonna be hard to get it dialed when the elevs. are not moving together perfectly-[

I am just an average pilot who wanted something bigger than my typical 40 sized profiles or propjets so maybe I won't notice as much as some of y'all-
I wish I had a scale cuz this thing seems HEAVY- OS-160FX may have something to do with it-
Thanks everyone-
James
P.S> Here is a pic my wife took with me, my Irish Wolfhound (Puppy!) and the F-90
