CG Matrix, a tip-stalling machine??? Help.

I am putting my Matrix together with a saito 82, but am concerned about posts regarding the airleron servo mounts. Should I open up my cover to CA the blocks down? Thanks

I installed my throttle just like it showed in the manual. I notched out a bit of the one bulkhead, then epoxied the plastic throttle pushrod sleeve to it. My YS is mounted inverted so it was a straight shot along the side of the fuselage to the throttle arm on the carb.

I was ready check my CG and the manual says start at 5 1/2". However, they did not say 5 1/2" from where? Since this is not a straight leading edge wing I am not sure of the actual balance point. Since it is a low winger, I would assume you would also balance inverted.

Rightflyer,
I've got my Matrix balanced at around 6 1/2" from the leading edge AT THE FUSELAGE and it seems to fly great. Try to move it there and see how it does. Good luck with this plane. I know that setup may have been difficult but once you nail it in it really flys great. I'm very happy with mine.

I just got done flying after moving the CG back to 6" and what a difference it made. Much more tumbly now and boy does it ever nail inverted flat spins! I'm going to fly it like this then move it back to 6.5" if I can.

I am trying to set up my Matrix with a Saito 82 and not use the stock tank. However, I am having a problem finding a tank that fits so that can be at the right level for fuel feed. I was wondering what type and size of tanks others used,
