Whats the truth behind "3D Capable"

Whats up with people saying you can't 3D with aircraft 25% and below?
What exactly can't and can you do with larger than 25% that you can't with say a Morris profile plane or similar?
Lot sof articles and posts I read say 3D is impossible with these smaller planes.. whats up?

On the packages of the old Cox UC airplanes it stated that the plane was guaranteed to be flyable. It followed that they couldn't gurarntee "you" could fly it!
Practice is what makes the difference. Just burning fuel is not practice. Continuing the same mistakes is not practice. Having a plan and following it to make whatever you are doing BETTER is practice. Keep a log (write it down or mental > doesn't matter which). Have a purpose in mind for a day's flying. Maybe you need to practice loops (keep them round and positioned center pole or ??)
This is what will make a difference.
Clear you head and burn some holes in the sky just for fun!

Because: planes under 25% are often too heavy, although I have a Kyosho CAP which is great at 3D.
People seem to think that 3D models are funflys and models with great big wings and surfaces. I totally disagree. A funfly model is a high wing model with large surfaces and thick wing section (briefly!) .... a low wing version from experience are always more happy at freestyle. .... rarely we see a low wing model at funfly comp, and a funfly at freestyle comp .... at least is the case in UK.
3D is not what people make it out to be. Most 3D maneuvers cannot be performed by funfly type or funfly/freestyle models (excluding F3A hybrids such as the majestic/funtana)
3D is where the wing has almost no effect.... hover for instance, or elevator....
If you hadn't guessed im struggling with what i want to say here!
To do proper 3D you need a proper wign that will actually stall, not one that is stall resistant. .... tipstall resisitant yes, but it has to stall stabily to fly basic 3D.

The larger planes are easier to control and see,but the smaller planes are not impossible,as EXCAP232 sez,it's in the thumbs and quality stick time,lots of stick time.

The 3D formula is:
1. light wing loading
2. large control surfaces and throws
3. very strong, very fast servos
4. very high power/weight ratio
5. Adequate fuselage area for knife edge
6. CG to the rear side of recommended range.
