Hi,
I've just been having a close look at AH designs Edge and extra...unfortunatley their site doesn't cover the edge...anyone know if these are 3D capable...the weights right but i can't see how big the elevator/rudder is. If its not, could it be modified?
I realy want my next plane to be every bit 3D capable as my Cap.

Cheers

Did you look at the 34% Marcelo Colombo Extra, they look good. But shipping might be a tad expensive. www.marcelocolombo.com.ar

Robert,
Just had a look at the website...just two questions
Is that US $
Is the stated weight correct
If so why hasn't everyone got one!!!
They do look VERY good, I agree shipping could make life difficult though.

Cheers

That would be $us, so with the rates now, it would be a BARGAIN, even with the shipping.
Its a new-ish company, so there aren't too many flying. Look at the thread in the Giant Scale section. It looks good.
And I don't know if the stated weight is correct.
Robert.

BTW, PM or e-mail me, as I might be able to help you with it.

I know the perfect model, an Acro Wot. Or, if you want something a tad larger, an Extra Wot!

Hi Robert,
Unfortunatley i've beaten ya by 3 years!!..I've had a 150% acrowot and currently have a 150% Wot 4...my Dad had a 150% Wots Wot too!!!
They all fly great!
My wot 4 ( or wot 6) has a Quadra 42 in and goes quite well....not unlimited vertical but still good fun!...oh and it dosnt 3D at all...well it can hover/tail slide.

thats the majestic with ys 53... himand paul heckles test flew their majestics at our field... put loads of mixing (following a phone call from the ripmax team who already had them - (if i remember rightly) in before the initial flight. SImons comment was that the KY Majestic was far too heavy ... hence his freestyle..exactly the same fittings, just far lighter and with bigger surfaces.

Paul had the equivalent sized Enya 4 sroke... they flew a formation ... on the verticals simons with ys was on 25% throttle so that paul could keep up .... goes to show how powerful them YS' are!

Its a pity though that his Freestyle is so expensive. I could get a Synergy 90 ARTF for a little more than his 53 sized freestly which is ARC. Its almost twice as much as teh Znline Madness ARTF.
It looks like on of the best planes for my needs, but I just can't afford it, so I am going with the glens 58 inch Cap instead.
Robert.

Hi,
I've seen paul hover the Wot4 before...a piper cub can do that with enough power ( i think the photos on 3w's website somewhere OR www.somenzini.com )...anyhooo...mines way too heavy with too small an engine for 3D. Its a good laugh though!
Cheers

yup... dunno if you saw but oen fo the YT cubs at weston park took off and went into a hover ( by accident... the pilot wasn't very good at all!) I could tell form it's stability however that it is possible. I too have one, but mine has too small ailerorns and would need a 91!

Yup, from what i gather he's redesigning the entire range from the ground up like he did with the cap.

So there'll be a small one like the 58 inch cap too?
