Due to poor visibility along with dumb thumbs, I totally trashed my Hanger 9 Edge 540 - really made me sick, with the Moki 1.8 it was a great flyer. There is just enough of it left to make me consider putting in a lot of hours rebuilding it. If I get enough guts to try to rebuild it this winter is there any known source for plans for this model? What have others done when they want to do major repairs on an ARF. This is my first ARF and probably one of the main reasons I have stayed away from them in the past.

You shouldn't need plans really ... I rebuilt mine following nicad jettisoning in a Blender!
My fuselage was smashed from the middle forwards... the sides were re-usable and i simply glued them back together and put thin doublers around, absolutely no problem now and very little heavier either. I do not know the structure of the wing as mine wasn't damaged in that part, but the fuselage is basically two sides, a few formers, stringers along the bottom, and pieces of 1.8th ply shelves (one for tank, one for frotn turtle deck.)
You can email me if you have fuselage repair trouble, as I know it's structre by now I may be able to help... but it's really quite simple!! [email protected]

Wings are listed, you need to add an "S' to the part number to find them.
REVISED WING SET: EDGE 540
by HANGAR 9 [HAN1352B] •
Price: $95.96
I salvaged mine, using a new fuse, old wing & tail feathers.

When the Edge went in, it went into and through several trees, wing crunched on both sides and fuse. pretty well gone from the trailing edge of the wing forward up to the back edge of the cowl. Tail feathers were not touched. After much experience with repairing other planes the wing does not bother me too much. It is the fuse that has me concerned.
