this thing is born to prop hang with my os 91 it will sit there all day on 1/4 stick!
this bird fly's so slow i started going backwoods and it did not try to drop a wing

knife edge is very stable with almost no rudder the oley thing i cant get it to do well is flat spins but this mite just be me.

hey - im thinking of getting a bossanova - as i have just bought a nice TT .61 size two stroke from my model shop and im interested in getting something i can do anything with- and want to learn to prop hang - i managed it on my foamies - but this model really looks great - and stronger than most other 3d machines-

do you think it will be ok with the .61 as to not overpowering it and how could i reinforce it a little if needed..

and are standard servos ok for it? i was thinking of using futaba standards run of 6.0 v rx pack ?

thanks

This is my bossanova with a TT 46 engine, more than enough for hovering and torque roll

i have put a .61 TT engine 2 stroke on and this engine seems really heavy - if i place the 6v rx battery on the tail fin that'l just about balance it - is it ok to pad the battery and is the tail strong enough to hold the battery inside?

i reinforced the firewall with another layer of ply and larger captive nuts on the 60 sized engine mount- cowl just abut fits -

the plane seems quite heavy now with a 61 on it ?? wil the greater power compensate for the increase in weight too?

As I said before the TT 46 is OK for hover or torque roll, check the video i posted on this thread.
I used 3 Hitec servos hs-81 mg in the ailerons and gas to reduce weight .
If you use heavier engines like os-61 you 'll get problems with the c.g. and will never get a good flat spin.

How does this compare to the WestonUK Hype 3D? The Hype is an extra £30...is it worth it?
Thanks for any advice
