I agree this is the best made RC video ever! Ditto on the wife. She has watched it a couple of times. It would make a great stocking stuffer. The warbird video is great as well. I'd like to see them do a Joe Nall or Top Gun.

Everybody BUY ONE so they can continue to make great videos.

I watched the trailer on the website. Then I watched it again. Then I watched it again, then I just ordered it. Best one I have ever seen for sure.

I have a 2 year old son. Who wants to "watch the airplanes" at least twice a week. I have tried to put other Model Aviation DVDs in, but he will not have it.

I would guess we have watched it nearly 30 times.

Better watch out! Your son won't like the gameboys, shootem PC games, ipods, etc. when he gets older, if you keep that up!!!!

Not such a bad tradeoff.

CAUTION

This video should have a disclaimer and caution!!!!

cuz after you watch it, you'll go and try to fly the same way!! They make things look so easy and smooth, how hard can it be???

As you watch it, of course you say to yourself 'eh, I can do that' then LOOK OUT or is that HEADS UP!!!

Definitely an awesome presentation of world class freestyle aerobatics. This gives inspiration to all to try to be better pilots.

Bravo

I loaned my copy to a fellow flyer. Be cautious of this cuz it ain't back yet!
I'ts a really good video. I would like to see sequences done with this kind of quality.

My friend just brought over his copy lastnight. Great flying and Chip Hyde talked smack about everybody and he didnt even get to stand on the potium!! Not that I would ever have a chance to be standing there.
Thats all I gotta say about that!!!

Later, I'm goin flying!!!

Next to maybe Ivan Kristiansen (spelling), Chip hyde has been flying at the international level longer than anyone else flying in that competition, so he is afforded some smack-talking rights - and that he did!

Im not taking anything away from him he is a awesome pilot!! But he will fade away once these new kids get up there, like Kyle W.
All I know is I wont be buying any of his ARF's just because of his attitude towards his friends and competitors..

I respect what Chip Hyde has done and I respect his talents, but respect is a two way street. Hearing all the stuff he says about guys when they are not around in the video put a sour taste in my mouth. I have been reading about how he has taken payments from many customers for his airplanes and never delivered either. Very talented guy, just can't find myself trusting him.

but back on the subject, the dvd is great. I watch Joe McBride's snap to high alpha knife edge over and over again, with the wing tip and the horizontal stab perfectly parallel to the ground about 4 inches up. Also John Glezellis' freestyle was amazing, with that one rolling harrier where he is practically dragging the sides of the rudder on the ground. Amazing look into the hardcore competitive side of the sport, and I would recommend it to anyone!
