Hi Mark,
At first I would like to say that I really admire your RC flying abilities. From the videos I've seen I must say that you and QQ are the cream of the cream in RC Freestyle and IMAC Aerobatics in world scale. IMO you must be given more credit as you are younger and less experienced than QQ, but anyway...[8D]
I've read your article in RCU about the rolling harrier etc. it is very well written, it does not include any hints in how to master the rolling harrier in both directions tough. Curently I'm pretty competent in right rolling harrier (circles, eights etc.) but I struggle to left roll with confidence. I really like that transition when you roll in one direction and suddenly change to the other in a horizontal rolling harrier figure eight. IMO this is one of the most impressive things I've seen in videos.
Do you think I must stop to right roll and practice left rolls such as slow, and multipoint only and as I procced to start locking the plane in a high alpha state? I'm just a bit afraid of losing the good feeling I have with right rolling harriers...[
]
Final question, how do you manage to steer the plane in rolling circles, loops etc. with such insane roll rate?
Looking forward to your advice,
Nick
