Thanks guys, something to try. Also do you guys know where I can buy the low end knob O-rings. My low end knob seems loose and can be easily turned. Maybe the problem is there. One time I was flying normaly and the engine just died and when I landed the low end turned almost 1/4 of a turn on the rich side.

Mecam,
Same thing was happening to my engine. I called Jim Gerard (you can get the number of Gerard Enterprises at the Horizon site under Moki) and he sent me some new o-rings free of charge. That's great customer service.

The above mount should be able to handle anything you guys throw at it. I have my BME 50 mounted on it in my GP PW Extra. I do not know the weight but I'm sure its less than the Hangar 9 metal mount.

I've got a H9 Cap/Moki 1.8 that also desperately needs a diet (13.6 lbs). I didn't realize that blasted metal mount was 7 ounces. Has anyone tried that GP mount yet? Might be an easy and cheap way to shave a few ounces quickly.
Also where do you get that Yellow mount pictured above?
