I post this yesteray in the section sport flying, I was in the wrong section, I start again:
I installed two cameras onboard my Funtana and fly with video goggle. I use goggle from take-off to landing. Last summer I practice aerobatic flight to know what is possible to do using only video to control the planes. The cameras are inside the wings. One camera looking front and one cam looking down. I use the down cam only when flying vertical. The horizon appear in the center of the video when the planes is level(front cam) or the planes is vertical (down cam). I made a video switch plug in the gear channel to change cam while flying.

the next step will be to install camera in the cockpit of a Capmaniac, the pan and tilt will be control directly by the movement of my head. later in the summer.
To watch the video you need Goggle video player:

I made another video, not acrobatic, but relaxing to watch. I used a glow planes. It was two years ago. Now I got an Easystar to fly at proximity of houses, not dangerous at all

Hi Jim
You asking me yesterday which equipment I use.
I made my own system. I buy cam from Black Widows, the old CX161 and new KX121, I made a metal case to protect it. Two wide angle lens (105 deg.) are use. For the video TX/RX, I use Felsweb or Airwave module, I had few parts, connector and case.
I made a web site two years ago, you will find info about my setup, check "miscelleanous" to find technical info:
