Default New Hitec 5475 servo....???

I posted this in the radio/servo section but figure I'd post it here as well:

Anyone try this new servo yet? I just picked up four for my UCD 3D and probably won't get to use them till spring. They are a new "value priced" digital servo (I paid $36ea). The ones I have are VERY tight. No slop what so ever. Can't wait to try them. They're not too fast on 4.8v but come around at 6v. I also have one of the new 5975's on order for the rudder but they are not available yet.

One strage thing I noticed however. These servos just started to ship in the USA (I had them on backorder for a month or so) but there is a sticker on the side of the box labeled "Mar 02"? Have they been using these servo in other countries or does it take 8 months to ship servos over seas?

Thanks...........Mark

I think that the sticker on the side shows the software revision, not the manufacturing date.

Those are probably do not have the coreless motors.

You're correct. Only 3-pole motor at that.

Where did you buy them? Servocity still says "Coming Soon". I haven't seen anyone carry them yet.

I saw them on Hitec's site about a month and a half ago. The specs seem about right for what I need for my UCD so I had my local hobby shop place them on backorder and they came in last Monday. I'm just curious if anyone else has had a chance to try them out yet.
