Default world models cap 232 46r

hi, ive been flying this model on an os 70 fl motor, which i have decided to scrap due to its lack of power and what i am wondering, as i have just put a 46 ax on it, will this ax be enough to hover this plane, and if so which prop would best suit, at the moment i have an 11*6 on it

You might try a 12x4 Zingger on an OS46ax
Hovers my TWIST , a slightly heavy plane

The WM Cap 232 46R is relatively light plane and the 46 2S is good enough. Try an APC 11x5.

I have a TS .56 on mine I just flew it for the first time today but if I cob the throttle & pull on the elevator it goes straight up!! I know it will hover it as soon I get good enough to do it.

Not sure which size best suits the .46 but I switched all of my props to APC wide props and they seem to fly a lot better. I've got a WM CAP with a YS .63 in it and a 13x4W prop and it will do anything in the air and slows down great for landings. Going with an 18x8W on my OS 1.60 as soon as it's broke in. You should check it out. Okay, Just checked and APC doesn't have a 11x6W for this engine but Zinger does. They also do a 12x6W. Here's a link. http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXLG00&P=7

Where are you guys finding tne green/ white Castrol 232? I went to the Airborne website and only found the yellow/red Breitling one. Was there a model change? Thanks

11x6W??? 12x6w??? are you mental? go with a 12x4 or 12.25x3.75, or if you really hate the engine 11x4 (i wouldn't)

hope that helps

Tried out a 11x5 prop today which seemed to be ok, its a pity i almost lost the model, due to bringing back to the pitts after 3rd flight to notice the engine felt loose

right... take cowl off, to find out there was only 2 bolts left holding the engine to the mount and the needle valve had stripped right off the metal plate which didnt seem to good either, ohh well back to the drawing boards to repair lol..

I've got one of these coming anyday now. I'd like to put on a Tru Turn spinner. Could some tell me the spinner size so I can get it ordered. Thanks

That would be 2 1/2 inches OD.
