Default Sig Ultimate Fun-Fly?

I am in the process of building a [link=http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_3992242/tm.htm]Sig Somethin' Extra[/link] and am looking at this as my next plane. I dont think Ill ever get an ARF...never have never will. Kits are just so much fun to build!! Anyway back on topic, I want a bipe that will hover, torque roll, harrier, Ect... You get the picture. I am so tempted to buy this because 1) its a kit, 2) its cheap, and 3) its a Sig bipe! So I just want some different opinions on this plane.

go-kartowner,
A bipe with the capabilities that you ask for is just a little bit above the level of the beginners forum. You might ask your question over in the 3D forums. You might have a better chance of getting an answer there.

if you want a 3d bipe get a boxxer from ohio model products. I have the sig its a good plane. I mounted a ys63 in it and had to move the servos to the rear to balance it without adding weight. Inever got it to hover too well it seemed to be too heavy to pull out with any authority. It can slow down fast when you back off the throttle. It drops like a rock when stalled. its very manuverable and you have to be careful on the ailerons because she can roll like she is possesed. this is not a beginner aircraft this plane can be over controlled easily when in high rates

Well, actually this will be plane number eight, it will be about plane 5 or 6 in order or getting engine, servos, ect...though. I need a cheap good high-alpha bipe that can use cheap engine, radio ect... I thought that this was a good one but I'm open to suggestions. And Ken, if you check the 3D forum its here now. Ill take a look at the boxxer.

This plane is Bad ***** when doubled in sized and powered with a 120cc gasser. Just added smoke too. I'm gettting ready to add a .90 Super Tigre to my small one. I'm also going to enlarge the control surfaces just like I did with the big one.

I have owned a lot of profiles in my quest to learn 3D. I have owned the Sig bipe your speaking of, and its no 3D plane when compared to other profiles. IMO, dont waste your time. Build the OMP Boxxer
