I "had" one and thought it flew excellent! I am not a pro, but felt that it did well in the 3D that I could put it through. An OS 1.60 is a great match up for the 231. I did have to land mine kinda fast to keep from stalling and was the ultimate demise of the plane, but i was kinda heavy with a Moki 2.1 in the nose.
There are also some concerns about the integrity of the airframe. I have put mine into blenders and some pretty fast snaps, it never once winced.

IMO....the Cap is a great plane for 3d. It has extremely large control surfaces, and can be put through some very wild aerobatics. Just make sure that you move the C.G. SLOWLY back.
Happy flying,

My Sig Cap flies VERY well. One thing I've learned though is don't skimp on the servos. I've had three servo failures on three seperate occasions. Each time I replaced the offending surface(s) with metal gear digitals and the problem went away
As far as 3d I'm no champ but with my Saito 1.80 I was able to CLIMB while in an inverted flat-spin and I have been able to harrier it but I'm new so take that for what it's worth.
