I was thinking of putting a Moki 2.1 in my Midwest Extra and trying to do 3d. Anybody think it'll work? Who else has a Midwest and what did you put in it to make it do 3d?????

HI FUNFLYER!!1 I HAVE A MIDWEST EXTRA 300XS... I INSTALL A G-45?? THIS IS A BAD CHOICE FOR 3D..SO DONT MAKE THE MISTAKE I MADE, OK... AS FAR AS THE MOKI 2.10. I THINK IS A GOOD ENGINE WITH GOOD POWER... IF I AM GONNA BUY A NEW ENGINE FOR THIS PLANE, I WILL GO SOMETHING LIKE A ZDZ, BME, 3W OR DA.... I WILL GO WITH GAS INSTEAD OF GLOW. MAKE SURE YOU KEEP THE PLANE AS LIGHT AS POSIBLE, IF YOU HAVENT BUILD IT YET, OK... I HOPE THIS HELPS.

DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY OTHER SUGGESTIONS???
ALEX

I have the XS version. The only real mods I am making to it are double-beveling the surfaces, and replacing some of the spruce stringers (non-structural) to balsa. I am really just hoping for an excellent IMAC plane; if I can do some 3D with it then I will be doubly impressed with it.
