Default RadioCraft Extra 330L!!!!!

Hey, first flight was on Christmas day and I was in shock. It flew soo well!! I only have one question: How hard would it be to make the ailerons full length? The plane will TR very well, but it won't hover because the ailerons arn't full length. Any help will be appreciated!
Thanks,
Craig Rideout

Default Full length Aileron VS Hover

All you need to do is pitch the plane to the landing gear a little the torque roll will stop and the plane will hover just fine . When I go into a hover I start with an elevator down to 10 feet then transition into a harrier and then into a hover and then I pitch the plane on the canopy slightly and begin a torque roll. This works on most platforms very well .I have the 40% RadioCraft Extra 330LX and a 33% Aeroworks Edge540T . Hope that helps some

I don't think you need full span ailerons to hover. Power, power and more power. Or do you mean it will not stop TR'n?

Default well?

To hover, if you're straight up, you need ailerons that are far enought inward to catch the propwash. That way you can put in right aileron input and stop the TR...... If your ailerons arn't full length, they don't do anything. So, to answer your question.... the plane won't stop TRing. I think tiping the plane to the gear is a good idea.... I'll try it.
Thanks,
