Diddo DMcquinn and 3daviator!!!
The glow plug acts as the timing, on larger glows go cold plugs, not hot, imho....go four stroke plugs such as OS TYPE F!!!

flyfalcons,
it sure might be, but if memory serves, i believe its cold to medium. i stand corrected if wrong. i've been told that cooler plugs are much better for larger glows and that the os type F is the one to use.

#8, Enya3, and Type F are great choices for large engines incl. OS160, large ST's, and Mokis. All are 'hot' plugs if I am not mistaken. I think the hot plug works better because there is more fuel to burn.

i as also told by a guy that has had a miki 1.8 for many yars to run a K&b 1L. I broke mine in on it then put the new moki plug in that came with the motor. also use low nitro fuel and add about 4 ounces of benol to the gallon
