Anybody knows any other provider in the world for this edge than Peakmodel ( New Zealand). ?
I've compared this edge to the Wild Hare Edge 73" which has a similar size and this one weights around 11.7 lbs. with the mvvs 26 (more than one kilogram than the one from Peakmodel).
Incredible. What is made of to be so light ? and the video was made in an urban park ?

I'm thinking of getting one of these to have a place to put a Super Tigre 2000. It won't sound as good as the gasser but it should yank it around fairly well. If I get into 3D stuff I'll find a 4 stroke or gas for it. It is a sweet looking deal with the 26cc but I don't have an extra $230.

Just got my today, 5 business days since the purchase.
I'm very impressed with the quality and craftsmanship of this plane. The covering is very close to the ultracote and the hardware it's not the best but some can be used. The airframe is very strong but some reinforcements can be done especially to the engine box. Good surprise overall just need some time to build and fly for my final impressions. I'll be using the Saito 180 for this one.
Ps: I think this I’ll be a 3D machine.

Rick, nicely done. Thanks for the pics, now get busy and good luck.
Man, I'm on the fence and teetering. I like this size in a gasser. I've got a two meter gasser and it fits very nicely in the truck. I can see this right along side the Extra. Joe

ok, Rick75 beat me to it. I have not been able to produce pictures yet, but now I don`t have too
My buddy recieved his combo today and that spe 26cc engine made my mvvs look big[:@] Incredible light and compact, 1065 grams all included ex ignition battery, in fact when lying beside his enya 120 fourstroke it looks small compared to that one too. I wonder how compact that 40cc is??

The plane is done, 10Lbs dry. She flies like a dream, rock solid and on the rails. I din't do much just two flights, some harries, rolls, blenders the same sh*&^%#@ . Tail touch on the second flight, oops
.
She is a keeper.
I'll post the finish plane picture later.

Rick75, how was the build? Find anything you didn't like or not useable? So far, everything in the pics looks good. BTW, how was the power to weight with the SPE 26? Thanks. Joe

I used 1/2 of the hardware the other 1/2 was junk including the CA HINGES, what a joke.
Everything else was pure much stock no modifications, I just want to fly it.
The engine that I used was the saito 180, perfect match for it.

Agree with you Bonedoc, if you just want to fly the 125 should be Ok but forget about 3D.
I forgot to check the weight before hardware and engine. Sorry Doc.

You have the option for one or two servos for the elevator but for the ruder you have to mount on the tail.
You can always make a tray for it if you want the pull-pull but will be difficult to achieve the proper balance.

A friend of mine who know the designer of the EDGE, has told me that is been built around the SPE 26cc gas engine.
So probably it will need an engine of at least 2lbs to balance correctly
