The 4 part RAR file is no longer available due to excessive bandwidth... you can only get it through the bitTorrent client.

I've uploaded over 12 gig myself (3 full DVD's worth) in the evenings I've left it up. I have to clsoe it during the day to keep my perfroamcne up t0o par when working... but turn it on at night.

If you have ANY of it or ALL of it... please leave your system on, and the torrent client running so others can get pieces of the whole ISO you have already gotten.

As people get further downloaded, more is available... and guys who have it all (Like me) make all pieces available.

So please... if you want it, or got it, be generous enough to keep the torrent client running (or run it at night) so others can share the bounty.

Leaving your system on all night does NOT hurt it in the least (I NEVER shut my system down... 24-7-365 and have experienced MUCH less downtime than those that constantly turn on/off their system. (heat/cool/heat/cool is not the best thing for circuitry)

Though it's a good idea to turn the monitor button off.

It might be quicker just to copy and paste the working links here rather than continuing to type about it.
http://www.somersetsignalsenders.org...06.iso.torrent
http://www.bittorrent.com/download.html . Are these the correct links?

That .torrent file link on http://www.rcuvideos.com/dvd is definitely dead. The page cannot be found.
Thanks, for the address (somerset.....) that works just fine. The original posted site doesn't, as you mentioned. Glad it was not me doing something stupid, you start to wonder sometimes when you are in unfamiliar territory, you know it must have worked for others, but then you can't do it yourself.

Thanks again

I downloaded all 4 parts on the first two days it was up without the bittorrent and it took about 16 hours to get all 4 parts. I guess since I have all 4 parts even if I don't get them to burn I'll try to download the bittorrent and help some others get access to the files. But since I haven't been able to burn them I don't know for sure that they will work.

If you download with the bittorrent you will only get one file, an *.iso which is the disc image, simple as that.

Guys...you are no longer downloading the parts 1 through 4. read the directions carefully as it states you must download the .iso off bittorrent and NOT use the parts.

I got it running in my BT client, but it doesn't seem to download at all. Can anyone confirm that it's available?

Are people unaware or have forgotten that sl1200mk2 (Wayne ) is the gracious host that has made the complete ISO file available at a decent download speed on his commercial servers? See his post on page 3, Post #65.

The huge complete file is available without using BitTorrent but the speed varies and is controlled to avoid bogging down the commercial interests.
That's where I got my error free ISO file and successfully burned it to a DVD using Roxio Easy Media Creator.

The use of a download manager is advised.

The four files make up the ISO for the DVD. Your best bet to get the ISO now is to use a bittorrent client. You can look back through the thread for instructions on where to find a client and how to start a download with.

Yes, select the burn image to disc option in Nero to correctly burn the DVD.

I tried it that way, but it won't recognize the ISO file extension.
I hate to ask, but is there anyone here using NERO who might
post a step by step of the burn?? Thanks

Guys,

You really need to read back through the thread. I posted instructions on using Nero to burn the ISO file and there are instructions on having to use a bittorrent client with the .torrent file.

lol@4 days. You're kidding, right?
sl1200mk2's server was downloading at 280 KB/Sec a few minutes ago. While that's not super fast in certainly won't take days. Probably around 4 hr 30 min.

I d/l'd from bittorrent last night and am still seeding. I d/l'd cd burner xp to burn to dvd. Got the error message about image too large, (over 4.2 gig). I read post earlier in this thread about choosing write ISO image to disk from the file menu. My question before I waste another dvd is, of the three write options, what do I need to use? "Use buffer protection" is checked. The other two, "Mode 2XA" and "finalize disc" are grayed out and I can't select them. I don't know about 2xa, but don't I have to finalize it to be able to play it on different dvd players?

There is a link in one of my other posts in the thread to some other free burning software which you might try too. If somebody has burned one successfully with the Burner Pro please chime in on question above

I tried the Burn to Disc feature from the backup menu like you said and all I got was sound but no picture at all.
I used a program once that would separate the ISO files and put them in VIDEO TS and AUDIO TS folders.
But can't see where there is a seperate audio or video file out of this one ISO file.
