I Torque rolled, hovered what ever you want to call it. Mind you i was at a VERY safe height but never the less it was on it's tail in one spot. After trying forever it just locked in an clicked.
Nice feeling.. just had to share with someone!

not for me tho 
good job bro, now you gotta watch your engine head temps, I did my first down to the deck hover around a month ago, and ever since I learned to do that, 60-70% of my flying has been nothing but hovers and harrier, and that was when I discovered I needed to improve my engine cooling.

It will lock with you down low, too.
It is something that you need to get, glad you found it.
Try it lower, you can see the plane better and react faster.

true! when you feel confident enough to try, you will find that it is much easier to maintain the hover when you are down low and close to yourself

PLEASE!! check your timer and fuel!! after I began hovering, all my crashs have been tailslides with no fuel!!! time runs out very fast when you are having fun...
