O.K. guys... many have been clamboring for it... it's finally here! Video of the Kimball-Smenzini 100cc Python. Through a unique collaborative effort betweent these two fine companies, the new 100cc Python is going to set new standards for 3D and aerobatic biplanes.
THe aircraft you'll see is 26.5 lbs, with 7 JR 8611a servos and requires NO flying wires.
No exact date has been set for release, but it is coming...
Visit the Python or Downloads at http://www.qqaircraft.com to see the vid...

It was mentioned on another thread about the scheme...
It WON'T be the Quique or Brio scheme (shown on the video) but a whole new design to broaden the design line...
There may also be some all white versiona available (don't know that for sure)

I'm also thinking that depending on balance (bipes are often nose heavier to some degree) that the new DA85 might do this plane proud... and be an overall less investment...

Yep...
The 75 was under prototype testing... and after all was said and done... they weren't satisfied with how it compared against the 80's that are out there now... soooooo the 85 was born... about 4-4.25 lbs it's the same or lighter than the lightest 80's but is suppose to be a REAL brute.
The DA85 features a totally new balanced crank design (I understand) that makes this an extremely smooth running single...
And of course the other reason to go to 85 was the absolute certainly of a twin version... YES a 170 is coming as well!

Is there a name for the rolling elevator that he does? Or was that a camera angle trick - looks like he does a perfect rolling elevator about halfway through.

Isn't that the COOLEST thing? It looks just like you describe... an elevator witht he plane rolling... but not even high alpha... don't know if the wind was working that out or not... but I don't think I've EVER seen that performed before...
And the elevators!!!! The ONLY bipe I've seen come down that slow and flat is the DV at 50cc.... very, very cool...

It certainly doesn't have the stall characteristics of any bipe I've ever seen.
I love the take off, right into a harrier. It rolls very well...like a Yak. The spins are very tight. I bet that thing will do a helluva knife edge spin. It would probably wind up enough to sling off the canopy!

quique is very good at those rolling elevators, he does that with his 120" yak as well and keep it perfectly axial. Did you guys notice the downwind harriers?
