round or sharp edge on wing leading edge?

just wondering what works best for 3d flying. seen some models with a sharp edge. but most models have a radius for the leading edge. i know a sharp edge model will stall faster, but is this good for 3d? tell me what you think & what you got.

What I have seen a lot of pilots at my field do is leave about 20% of the INSIDE part of the LE sharp and make the rest round.

Always round........
The bit you need to adjust for performance is the forward section - i.e. where along the chord the thickest part exists.
As a rule of thumb, my brother uses a 1-3% thicker sectionat the tip to the root section.
Thickness all the way forward is more fun fly, further back is 3D, further back again is pattern. Most go between the latter two these days.

You dont want to have a sharp leading edge, because then the wing will want to chop through the air, and not fly smoothly. When the leading edge is pointed it has a greater tendency to want to hunt its way throught the air. what i mean by this is that it will be flying one direction, and then a change in the air will cause it to move in a different direction very rapidy, and not smoothly like if it were round.
