Default Two elevator servos

I wonder if any of you guys can help with setting up my elevators?

I've a futaba T9CP and have elevator sevros on channel 2 and 8.

Channel 8 is throwing the sevro at a higher rate than channel 2 (in the up direction only).

I have tried reducing the throw in the ailvator setting and when I reduce the up throw to make it equal with channel 2, I have then lost an equal amount of down throw on channel 8.

I'm stuck on how to make the throws of both servos the same.

Maurice.

I use ch 2 and 5. You have to go in and inhibit the gear channel and then mix the gear channel 100% to the elev. The channels you are using should not be the problem this is just how I do mine. The RX when it recieves the signal sends the impulses to the servos in order. First 1 then 2 and so on. I may only be a fraction of a second difference but 2 & 5 are closer than 2 & 8. Sorry to ramble back to your problem. I would suspect there is a wrong setting on your mix screen. Look and see if the link& trim is on or off. Try changing one thing at a time on that screen to see if it fixes the problem. Maybe somebody else is at home with their radio in front of them and can talk you through it.

One other thought if you have used more sub trim on one channel or the other it will change the max throw. Try and have the sub trims at zero by adjusting the linkage.

If you mean faster then move it from channel 8 to channel 5. If you mean further then got to the end point adjustment for channel 8. This is assuming that your physical setup is correct.

Bob, thanks a lot, you have it.

Dumb I know, but I stated by copying another model across for basic set up and did not reset the end points.

Channel 8 was fine, channel 2 was not throwing full distance.

Maurice.
PS, I'm using channel 8, as channel 5 is in use on the second aileron servo.

Glad I could help. Let me know if there is anything else. This will help keep you from having problems. I learned it real quick when I got my 9C. After turning on any mix, don't adjust any part of the mix until after setting end points for all channels involved in the mix. Then set the mix to match your personal taste. I can't take credit for that though, someone told it to me. I do know it works every time.
