I'm looking for engine from OS for UCANDO.

Alternatives
FS91II
.91fx
120ax

I think 120ax will be ok. ( maybe a little overpowered ).

Which do you prefer 91.fx ofr 120ax. ?

I had the OS 91 FS on mine, loved it. Good power, reliable and efficient, flew great with a 15x4 APC.

YS 110 is by far King in this displacement area. Head ans shoulders above the over rated OS.

saito 125 definately! this type of plane should definately have a four stroke engine in it. for 3d you want to throw a big prop at lower rpm. maybe a 17 x 4 wide or somethin. long and low pitch slow and more tourque. a guy art our club ( popcan ) has a u-can-do with saito 125 and it flies awesome! i have a ys 110 in my showtime 4d 90 with an apc 16 x 6 and 25% cool power fuel. the ys 110 is a powerhouse...way more power than 125 and weight is good too....but they are expensive. i have seen the u-can-do plane with a 125 and it was awesome. ys110 would be more power but the u-can-do is 60-90 where showtime is 90 meaning u can do will fly on smaller engine and saito 125 is awesome.

just my opinion

I have several 3d models with four strokes in them.
However, I have never been tempted to change the 120AX in my UCD for another engine.

did you have a weight or GC problem with 120AX.

I have two choice in my country OS91FX - OS120AX or fourstroke OS models.

gumush,

I agree with Stephen go with the Saito 1.25 for this plane with a 17x4W prop on it. It will pull like crazy and be much lighter than any OS. I just got a Saito 1.50 for my newly ready to assemble Hanger 9 Twist 150. I am going to start out with a 18x6W APC prop on it to see how she flies.[8D]

Saito 1.25 > 20.52cc / 2.2HP / 620g / 1,800 - 10,000 RPM / 4 Stroke

OS 120AX > 20cc / 3.1HP / 650g / 1,800-9,500 RPM / 2 Stroke

I' think weight is not a problem for 120AX , only 30g higher.

hi gumush

no, the 120AX is more or less the same weight as a 90 4 stroke.

Piroflip2,
I've got a 120 AX thats needs a home, the UCD seems like the ticket. Were there any issues installing the AX? Did you use the stock OS muffler and use it in the standard position, or use the pitts converter piece that comes with it? I bet the UCD is a blast with the Ax. I had one a few years ago with only a Saito 100 ,had a blast with it. Thanks, Sewerdude
