Today I maidened Chip's CAPX. I've been flying RC since 1967, but always small stuff. The story of how I came by this airplane is not worth repeating, but the airframe itself is new. The engine is a used FPE 2.4, in which I had to rebuild the carb and replace the Hall sensor. Both engine and aircraft were simply amazing today, and the WOW factor from my flying buddies, was testament to this combination.
Profile .46 3D ships are a lot of fun, but this big, beautiful bird is a sight to behold, and a joy to fly. Chip, I don't know you, but I wanted to publicly thank you for a fine product. I wish this bird was still in production.
