I'm looking at a sukhoi w/the exact same specs as this yak http://www.eastrc.org/shop.cgi/page=...03463264.12860. Is 24.5oz an exceptable wing loading for a plane this size?

I've got one of those... it's more like 20.5 oz. Flys like a foamy. Why would yours come out so heavy? I've heard the gas 26cc combo is a POS..... and the 40cc is just plain heavy. I've got a saito 180 and it's fantastic. What where you planning on using?

40cc comes out to 10lb 3oz. Heard the 26cc or whatever was very lackluster in performance... trying to get out of glow planes and into gas.

25 ounce wingloading is not too high for aerobatics on a plane that size but that is a little heavier than I would like for 3d. The plane gets snappy and everything moves faster.
