Guys I need to know who makes the best 80" or somewhere around there wingspan Cap 232. I want one that does good 3D and is also pretty well mannered. I was looking at the Hangar 9 232 ARF which looked pretty good. Any suggestions appreciated.

Hard to beat your choice of the Hangar 9 80" CAP 232. It's a very nice plane.

Try this... http://www.glensmodels.com/
They have gotten rave reviews, and are said to really 3D properly.

I don;t think your going to find anything better in the 80" version of the Cap that MM has design weather its H9 or Midwests

MM has a real good track record in this dept

Cannot wait to fly my H9 Su31

Yesterday I flew my H9 80" cap for the first time. With a Moki 2.1 it weighs 14 Lbs 12 oz and balanced perfect. I was really impressed with the way it flew. Great waterfalls, harriers and elevators with no wing rock. Blenders were good but flat spins wouldn't quite get the tail down. Maybe more throw and move the CG. It's only downfall is the one piece wing but I can deal with it for how good it flies.

Nice looking planes but I don't speak German and I have no idea what the landed cost would be in the USA.

A Moki 2.1 with the radial mount is EASY to mount ,has unlimited vertical and can pull out of a hover. If you want gas get a DA or BME 50.
