To set up for 3d and hovering have found the so called hover props
a bit so so been able to get better hovers on 6 inch pitch pluss
was just dropping out of a hover so i went a smaller prop more pitch
so the static thrust was lower
but but a higher speed thrust
over controls
and now can hold hovers
have found this on 46 to 120 planes
has enyone else found this
so what is your best set up

a 15x4 w blade was great
but a 14x6 was beter for a hover
14x4 was just to far so a 14x5
is my pic
on a asp 91 powered modeltech excite
for a 46 powered badboy 11
the 12.25x3.75 was so so
the 12x4 apc was great

I've had some mixed results. The 15x6 I used to break my O.S. 91 4 stroke in with, seems to make more static thrust than the 15x4 I got to fly with. I'm gonna try both in the air and see what happens.
