Default Extreme Flight Yak 55 good for learning 3D?

Is the Jeremy Chinn Yak 55 profile good for learning 3D? I have a Twist 40, Im just wondering if it will be easier to learn on than the Twist.

I don't have any input on the EF plane, there others are great but I dont know that one. I can tell you the twist isn't very good at all for 3D.

I would seriously consider getting a foamy if you want to focus on 3D. Once you have the electronics the planes are easy to replace. Also because the wingloading is so low it makes it easier to learn.

The Chinn yak flys loose, and the fuse is a little more fragile than other profiles. Not to good for learning and dorking in the ground. If you're just starting out I suggest a mojo 40 or omp edge v3. Either one will be easier to learn 3d than the twist. IMO

Chinn Yak is awsome. I have one & really enjoy throwing it around. IMHO, it is a great platform to learn 3D.

I don't think it's a great plane for LEARNING 3d flight. It's very capable and wild but better as a second 3d profile. Mojo or Primo 40 is more forgiving. Just about all profiles will be a lot easier to 3d than a twist.

I've learned a lot on my Chinn Yak. It is my first Nitro Profile plane and I continue to fly it regularly.
