So which gets your vote??? Do you think describing airplanes' ability to perform manuevers to be aerobatic or acrobatic?

I have seen it both ways. I vote aerobatic.

aerobatics - spectacular flying feats and maneuvers (as rolls and dives)

Aerobatic is the aeroplane doing acrobatics.

Arobatic is the pilot when the plane becomes confused in the performance of aerobatics.

Cartwheeling down the run way would be acrobatics. Although some pilots are able to do this, I have not been successfull at it yet. Maybe I like my planes to much ha ha.

Ya know, I have seen one pilot cartwheel down the runway. I have seen more planes cartwheel down the runway, but those havent been tooo successful.

I prefer the term aerobatics, because if I say i to aerial acrobatics people look at me like I am a perv.
