Default U CAN DO 46 + YS 63

Hi guys, I bought a Great Planes U Can DO 46 and have a YS 63 to go in it. Will the YS have enough power to pull out of a prop hang. Have the plane totally assembled with YS 63 in it and it weighed in at 5lbs. Also is this a good 3D plane? Has anyone this combination?

Thanks Damien.

The YS 63 is an excellent engine for the UCD46. It will prop hang and have very good pull out. Good choice of engines.

Yes, the UCD46 is one of the best 3D planes you can buy. Excellent choice. It will do flat spins both inverted and upright excellent. It will do waterfalls wonderfully. Rolling circles are great. Hovers are easy and fun. Tumbles and snaps are great fun. It's a very fun plane to fly. You'll like it. It's weakness in flying is KE and Harrier. KE has quite a bit of coupling (but if you fly it a lot, you get used to it and can still KE pretty good) Harrier has quite a bit of wing rock. But again, if you get used to it you can do them "ok".

One maneuver that this plane will do the few other will is an inverted rising flat spin. It's very cool and a real crowd please and is something that really sets the UCD apart from other so call 3D planes.

It is one of the most fun plane you can have in my opinion. I've had 5 of them and have enjoyed everyone.

Good luck.

thanks
Barry

PS: One thing you'll really want to watch is that you don't overspeed this plane. It is meant for slow 3D. It will not take high speed.

I just started flying a UCan Do 36, this is my first 3D plane. Iwas just going to post a question about KE, because Inoticed a BOATLOADof coupling when trying to KE. So, Iguess that's a common weakness of the plane. Iguess the only thing you can do is lots of aileron management eh? What's the best way to enter KE with a plane that has coupling? Also, how does one to a "rising" flat spin?
