well DCRC uses several fields, I think their mainone is in the Rockvlle area. I would estimtae in no traffic from Baltimore is about 45 min to 1 hour. I would say take the BW parkway to 495 towards Rockville thent o I270 North to the field.

i am not into planes but there is a model air plane park in laurel.....my dad is a member of the fire dept and we run call for planes going down over i-95 and we get there and it is just an r/c landing and the park lol if on 95 get off at 198 towards laurel when u get to the traffic light make a right on vna dusen rd. keep driving u will pass the fire dept. lol its a few miles but its hidden back in the laurel sand and gravel it is on your right just after u pass over I-95

Here's the website www.freestateaeromodelers.org
I'm a member and would love to help you but I'm in Baghdad right now. There is a hobby shop(Hobby Works) about 2 miles from there so that could be a convenience sometimes. It is a nice field except for the issue of citings from drivers driving in 495 reporting crashing airplanes . They have rotated the strip about 45 degrees so to avoid 495 .
