75ax

The plane calls for a .60-1.00 2 stroke and it's flying weight comes in at an advertized 6-9 lbs, which is a wide range as 3 lbs can make a huge difference in a model this size. With the .75ax I guess I would expect it to be able to hover but maybey not pull out of it. Other than hovering the engine should perform well enough on other 3D manouvers.
So, which position are you in?
1) You have an engine and want a plane for it...
2) You have the plane and want an engine for it...

Well i purchased this airframe only, at a local hobby store(just had to have it) and i have both a 75ax and a 120 ax ,the holes are predrilled in the firewall for the mount, but the mount with the plane is too narrow for the 120 to fit, when any of the holes are aligned. So i tried the 75 and it fits perfect. This is my first time mounting a engine inverted so i want to do everything right! I was kinda disappointed in the mount (size) it seems a little small for that size engine ,and i have seen others make that comment on here! I really want to use the 120 but i just want it to fit correctly!

Do you think an adjustable motor mount might work? http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXJ773&P=ML

Dont know but im sure gonna try it! It almost has to because thats the size engine it calls for, but i still cant believe the "dinky" mount that was included!
