RE: www.Learning 3D step by step - 2

IF,

The problem I think you are having is common...

You desire to perform maneuvers that require more skill than you posess and you don't seem to be content in practicing and learning "lesser" maneuvers.

While you may THINK that rolling harriers that don't maintain a certain attitude are not as attractive, the simple fact of the matter is that you are unable to do any of these maneuvers... meaning you should be MUCH more appreciative of them all.

A thread like this COULD be very beneficial, but instead it contains so much useless rhetoric that it's a tad laughable.

The truth of the matter is that you can't just read a description of a maneuver and the go out an perform it. Why? Because you can't "think" your way through a maneuver... you must "fly" your way through it.

Back at the beginning somone stated that the ability to control the plane falling out of a maneuver is MORE important than the maneuver itself.

He's 100% correct. Only when you are fully "automatic" at inputting the proper stick movements at any and all attitudes will you be able to perform 3D like you wish.

I guess you could say that EVERYONE can hover, torque roll, rolling harrier, waterfall, etc... What most cannot do is input the proper attitude corrections to MAINTAIN or CONTINUE the maneuver.

Practicing builds the automation of these corrections. The attitude is corrected instead of error ending the maneuver.

Noone said practicing would be fun... but those that make a commitment and show perserverence become better pilots.

And most importantly... they do it because they enjoy it and get a feeling of accomplishment when they learn a new maneuver, and because they enjoy the admiration of fellow flyers who appreciate the effort he invested to learn them.

If none of this sounds palatable to you, there are a myriad of other hobbies that you can look into.

And one thing that really DOES bother me...

All this talk of free.... Nothing is free... Our freedom was bought and paid for by the countless brave that gave their lives that we might have it... and it really bothers me that some people trample on that valour by assuming it gives them the right to spew meaningless drivel and provocative banter.

I sincerely hope your translation doesn't miss the intended meaning of this post.

While you may THINK that_rolling harriers that don't maintain a certain attitude are not as attractive, the simple fact of the matter is that you are unable to do any of these maneuvers... meaning you should be MUCH more appreciative of them all.
:DDo you know my skill? I am still learning to hover my Magic 3D but I will learn surely. I must still learn some more tricks that you, "3D experts", can't teach to us beginners.
When I'll have understood them, I'll teach them to 3D beginners as me.

:DI CAN'T STILL HOVER BUT, AS A "3D FLYING ARTS" CRITIC, I DON'T LIKE PLANES THAT LOOK LIKE LEAVES IN THE STORM AND I DON'T LIKE LESEBERG'S_ROLLING HARRIERS WITH A PLANE ATTITUDE OF 20 DEGREES THAT LOOKS LIKE A WOUNDED BIRD THAT HAS DIFFICULTY TO FLY AWAY.
I DON'T SAY THIS BECAUSE I AM ENVIOUS.

[sm=thumbup.gif]Today I have held my Magic in hovering for a little time as if my plane went round attached with the bottom to a cylindrical surface. Very fine to see. How I did it, I don't know, but it was very very attractive.

:D:D:DYOU MUST BE ENVIOUS: [sm=thumbup.gif][sm=thumbup.gif][sm=thumbup.gif]FERRARI RACING CARS: 1° WINNERS AGAIN.

You are a child in years or in mind. You don't seem thankful that your native language isn't German or your country isn't a munitions dump.

Italy IS a beautiful country that has given the world wonderful things... art, literature, cuisine... Somehow your desire to provoke others doesn't fit with the spirit of Italy.

ALL countries have heros that died for freedom... they died that we ALL might have a say in our leadership, and yes... so that you can fly your Magic to the best of your abilities.

As it's pretty apparent that you aren't serious about the topic of this post, I'll just leave you with your own thoughts. Best of luck with your flying... I look forward to seeing your graceful 70 degree rolling harrier video someday.

Edible, it seems that with enough money you can get behind the wheel of a Ferarri. If the sticker price is too steep, you can rent one. But this is where the real money is. Maserati is owned by Ferrari ASP. Ferrari is owned by Fiat. Twenty percent of Fiat is owned by General Motors. GM is now negotiating a 1.1 billion dollor escape route because they want out of their contract to purchase the remaing 80 % which only 27% is held by the original owners. They want out because Fiat is financially falling like an avalanche. Now on a more secure financial front is the sound ownership of Lamborhgini. Owned by Audi America. Nothing is what it seems. Joe

Vittorio, you my friend, are a tart. As Maudib pointed out earlier, it is clear you are more interested in provoking an argument than learning. I can hear the jingle jangle of the administrators keys now, getting ever so louder, as they approach to lock up another one. You have stated that you hovered a little longer on your last attempt. Do you feel that you can identify what you did different to attain this? Was it luck, or the process of elimination through practce. Joe

[8D]Hi people

:)Dear Joe, my friend

Why with you I can make fun of everything?

:DI like to provoke, it's my method to discover the truth (Do you know Socrate, Greek philosopher?)

[8D]Other threads are boring: what should I buy? How have I to do to...? Which is better? Ys 63 or_Saito 72?
A lot of threads stopped because they were not interesting.

;)I instead have a lot of affectionate readers because I use "smileys".

[sm=thumbup.gif]But let's keep on topic.

[sm=thumbup.gif]"ARF", "Almost Real Flight" is a good help if you download this plane: [link]http://www.bestrc.com/hobbies-bin/countdown.pl?acCarlGoldbergExtreme330Profile.exe[/link]and fly low close to the runway and learn to escape from dangerous situations. To make the plane more difficult to fly and more real, you can increase the weight of fuse and main wings proportionally. Larger planes you can download with add-on n. 4 are very much more unreal.

:D:D:DRCUniverse or "ARF" could announce a fine contest: 500$ for the best set-up (weight of fuse, main wings, tail, best engine,
surface control percentage, inertia, and so on) of "Extreme 330 Profile" that makes it the most real possible.

:eek:How could I hover a little longer?

[sm=thumbup.gif]Because I have understood what to do and my thumbs begin to work in automatic way.

Vittorio, provocation indeed, stimulates the minds of many. But remember, not all appreciate your sense of play as I. Automatic thumbs is a positive step forward. Joe

I guess I just can't help myself...

I find it quite funny that the plane he selected for realflight that "is a help" was submitted by none other than myself. :D

Maybe... JUST maybe... if he kept his sarcastic mouth shut and his deaf ears open he might learn something from those who are willing to help.

A real oxymoron... Knows everything about nothing.

Toodles...

Vittorio was also somewhat correct by implying that you must know what to do before practicing, however, practicing is the key. You will find this out yourself.

However, to avoid crashing airplanes, it is important to learn how to "catch" the plane out of any attitude while attempting to perform the maneuver. This is actually more important than the maneuver itself.

Try not to put so much emphasis on the maneuver and practice, on real flight, falling without losing altitude. You will find yourself in strange positions, but think hard on what to do as you are falling and remember what you did when you succeed.

*snip*
;)Here's yet another example Maudib. He agrees with my statements, however, continues to imply that "Johnnylightning says craps" and "As always, you don't understand"

:eek:Vittorio, if you wish for 3D beginners to follow you, you must stop contradicting yourself.

[:-]As Maudib suggests, open your ears and try to learn something from those who are willing to help.

:)As cumn thru suggests, you should be less offensive (obnoxious) with your provocation.

[&:]As edible_engine suggests, "well said Maudib".

[:o]And ultimately, as you suggest, Vittorio, to be a "3D Flying Arts Critic", you must first be an expert.

Only good students listen and learn without PROVOKING subects to become locked.

If you say idiotic mistakes, then you are saying craps. Also your friend edible_engine says you can't do_ROLLING HARRIERS with plane attitude of 70°- 71°- 72°- 73°- 74°- 75°. Are you a magician or an illusionist?
