Why not try to fix it yourself if on a budget. Go to your LHS, match up the wood and put the puzzle back together. Its not as hard as it may seem. If youve never done it before, just let it sit a few days and go back and take a look at it. You might be surprised how simple it can be, just time and patience.

Thats true theres a guy out at our flying field thatll crash a planes and will piece a plane back together and glue every piece back together and within a week he'll have the same plane back in the air! also once crashed my easy sport off of my barn and crunched in the entire left front part of the fuse! (all the radio compartment on the left side) I just cut it off smooth and cut a piece of balsa to match and within 20 minutes had it glued and recovered! might take a lil more work with your reactor but itll be worth saving $90 bucks if you ask me!

I'm gonna try but I just don't think it's fixable, the lg block looks like it was hit by a bomb!

Part of the problem with repairing a lot of these new ARF's is that they're largely built of laser cut lite ply, with little balsa. My ChinnYak is a good example: there is precious little to glue back together! The profile fuse on it is all laser cut large pieces of really thin ply; I can't really figure a way out to make it strong again, so I have added a birch stick between the side plates and am also adding some flat carbon strips to cap the top and bottom of the fuse. The Reactor was the same too: lots of ply and only a little balsa. If you don't have a little jigsaw, it's pretty hard to cut new pieces of ply to rebuild. Oh well, another hobby tool to buy one of these days...

A band saw with a thin blade will work just as good as a lil jig saw! theres a guy here in wf that has his own laser cutty thingy! he has his own website its... http://www.lazer-works.com/actioned/index.html he builds and cuts his own kits if you sent him some ruff dimensions he can cut you whatever you need! Id even be willing if youd send me some pics of what broke id take my fuse up to him and he could get measurments cut it and mail it to you! probly under $30 bucks! or try and cut it yourself... your choice!

I went with the Great Planes CAP 232 160 size. Talk about a great 3D plane with no bad tendencies.

Yea it is big.....mine was shot down by an idiot who turned his radio on while I was flying...was a great plane for sure

Not a chance...he's one of those I'm gonna fight you if you say something I don't like, always right, you're wrong types...he was thrown out of the local club. he shot down 2 of my planes that day...the other one I could have cared less about.

IF you'd like, take some pics and post. We can walk you through it if need be. A few months ago I cracked the tail off of my Aeroworks Edge right off. This was my first repair job so I was skeptical. I just made clean cuts and replaced with new wood, with a little reinforcement in these areas. Plane looks as good as new. Cost me about $5 in wood, and 1 roll of covering. If you dont have a band saw and all that.....a dremel is the best thing to have. Its all I use.

At the least it'll give you something to do while you save up the $90 - and improve your building/repair skills. You wont know until you try.

That sucks! If that happened here everyone wouldve been on his but! our club actually makes you sign a contract incase something like this happens!


And I dont know you personally but i think you can repair it if you just take your time! Just like the other guy said if nothing else itll be good practice!

I got the side of the fuse almost done on an hour! And there weren't any missing pieces, they all stayed Inside the fuse! So, now all I need is a prop and some covering instead of a whole fuse. I dont think the lg mount will be as hard as I originally thought.

Im so excited! todays the 1st nice day here in the last couple of weeks so Im takin off early grabbing my slim jim and head to the flying field! my reactors scheduled to be here on the 2nd! so excited!

Wasn't anything left to repair.....They are built so light it disintegrated on impact, the only good thing is that all the disintegrating saved the equipment, except one servo.
