Default outrunner mounting

John, Allen here,, just recieved one of your PRO model edge 540 kits, and wondered how to moung the outrunner style motors. The goosew neck foam piece,, does it get glued back into the fuse??? or just what,,,I am too new to foam planes to figure this one out,, any pics or somthing to clear it up for me would be appreciated,,, by the way, the new pro kits REALLY look nice,, By the way, I have both the hacker a20-20 l and the himax 2812-0850 availabvle to put into this polane, and wondered if there was any perfarmance difference,,,,, thanx again,,

Default RE: outrunner mounting

Hi Allen, both will work great, Im not sure what part your referring to as the gooseneck foam piece? But, to mount a outrunner radial you will need to glue a ply disc in the nose, cut the torqued motor mount back a little so the prop will still clear the nose, then glue the ply disc onto the nose against it and all fuse sides.
Hope this helps.
