I did send the stock esc back but have yet to hear from them. With what they want for one maybe theyll exchange it for another brand. I did test the plane with a jeti 40 amp esc i just bought for my dash-8 project. It flew well on the stock battery. When I put in a lipo, look out. It hovered (as best that i can) at just a hair over 1\2 throttle. It was 20 deg out so I didnt even run it all the way down, but I really like the plane so far. Ill update after I talk to horizon.
