Default RE: Looking for a Biplane

waldopepperaxel, I admit there are some real builder's kits coming out of Sig, but even those fly great! The Sun Dancers are a whole new breed of Sig models, light, strong ARFs that are nothing short of gorgeous. I checked your page and saw you have a 4-star 40 so I know you're aware of how they fly. I also think you've probably been flying long enough that you've got a whole passel of those builder's kits under your belt. I'll admit it makes it hard not to associate them with the mere mention of the name Sig.... Hey, I don't know how small you go with your Planes, but you might want to check out the Sig's Herr Little Something Extra ARF....I have one in the Turquoise color...It's AWESOME...and small....1/2A....not a Bipe... but far from carving out a model from a log, though! Thought you might like it! Here's a link, hope it works:

Now you say you want a good KIT. You say you want to try something different. If you like giants:

I've had most of the models shown here..... they're a blast to build..but they ARE BIG... I'm back to flying smaller models because they're easier to store and transport.
