I agree on keeping the trainer.
You won't get too much money for it if you sell it used and it's great to have a trainer in your fleet.
As you get better at flying you can wring that trainer out and make it fly really good.
-Good for relaxing flying
-Have friends buddybox on it to try RC flying
-Break in new engines in it
-Back up when everything else is crashed/malfunctioning.
-Rebuild it to a twin, night flier, candy bomber, camera plane etc.. etc..
I have a LT40 trainer and it comes with me to the field alot. I like relaxed flying and quite enjoy this plane.
Actually tonight I mounted a brand new Magnum 52 fourstroke on it and I plan to break it in on this plane.
(The original OS 52 was moved to a SSE earlier so the trainer had a vacant engine spot for the new Magnum)
