hey Ken, i got 4 escs also as i found with the c47 and the a10, multi brushless motors run fine with 1 esc each. i think the motors are about 1150kv, they've got 4 at $9 each, kinda like the balsa products motors. i spent $40 on 8 brushed motors for the herc and another $40 on a brushed esc. i wish i'd have known about this site 6 months ago when i got all the stuff. anyone want some 180 and 280 motors ??
