ORIGINAL: *_Torque_*

does roller mean as in have everything on it (stock) and just upgrade from there??roling chassis=roller?!? sorry its late and im just getting confused...

this is what I planned on doing...
1) have LST chassis
2) have stock LST tranny
3) have stock LST Drivetrain
4) have the LRP .28 Spec 1 engine
5) have (hop up) shocks and shock tower
6) have diffs and gears aluminum
7) have few other inexpensive hop ups for durbaility(nothing big)

thats it for now..nothing too big or anything I just thought to have a better engine plus the other stuff would save me money as oppposed to buying it stock and taking the engine out.

Would it be cheaper to build it up this way instead of buying it stock and tearing it down?

Is the LST 2 and LST a lot different because if I buy some parts of a LST2 and put it on the LST chassis will it fit with no mod? or not?

That doesnt sound all that bad, I would personally stick to the stock LST2 shocks. There isnt anything out there that is much better, and stay away from integy for the most part. As far as the roller, its just a rolling chassis, sometimes including more stuff than others, depending on the seller and price.

Also you might want to go with as much stuff from the LST2 instead of teh original, the LST2 is more updated, although majority of parts will fit both. The only things that are different and arent interchangable are the axels, a-arms, knuckles and carriers, and rear carriers, all this stuff is updated for durablilty. Feel free to add anything I missed abu.
