FM recievers work just as well as anything else the key to the whole thing is to keep reciever switches and wires atleast 8 inches away from anything to do with the ignition wires,switch,battery etc.We have been flying warbirds this way for years and with the reciever antenna inside our birds with no problems at all,Have been doing the same with aerobatic planes too.Pcm does a fine job also,Heli guys use them with EVERYTHING balled up together in an area no larger than the size of a softball with no problems,If room is an issue use a pcm,if not go with the FM it will work fine>
