I'm looking for information about quiet mufflers/cannisters for the BME 110 Extreme. My local field has a 98db noise restriction, so I need to meet that level of noise without robbing the motor of power. My plan is to put the engine on a Great Planes CAP-580.

Is anybody running Chip Hyde's quiet cannister/muffler on BME 110? If so, how well does it work soundwise, and does it restrict the motor at all?

Anybody had any problems with this engine?

Can anybody suggest another combination that will work?
