shoot for the 190 degree mark...temp is the only way to break in and maintain an engine.. on hot days check temp often..from experience...the engine shuts down at about 300 degrees! i hit that mark several times accidently. I don't know if it damaged the engine but, it still runs strong and starts easily..I love my nemesis!
