Default RE: Chip Hyde's Cap-X - Building & Flying

Just an update.

I have 8 flights on my capx now and I love it. There were light winds today and I was able to harrier in pretty much one spot in the sky. The brison is a great motor for her. Cruising at half throttle with a little bit of altitude the plane sounds real. The elevator is super effective on the bird. I have 40* of elevator at max throw, and low rates is dialed down to 25%.
Waterfalls are powerful and graceful. Up right spins are just as easy as inverted, and the cap gets really flat too. Knife edge is great, alot of rudder authority. I am still working out the mixing though. I have an always on rudder mix, since the nose down tendency with the rudder is rather strong.

I can't wait until next weekend.......
