Mine does not have retracts. I used the gear that they supplied. I also had the nose wheel set as far as it would go down, and the nose still did not sit up far enough.

I wouldn't say that it is overpriced at all. Overall all I am very happy with the plane. I have not had a single Arf without something that I have been unhappy with.

I have the only one at our field, which to me, is a bonus.
