Seagull models have been on sale in the UK for 3 or 4 years now. They are the cheap end of the market but are quite decent for it. I assembled and flew their Spacewalker for a friend, and have their Extra 300. No complaints about either, build quality is acceptable, and handling and flying is good. They are definitely not in the VMAR rubbish league. I would be quite happy to have another Seagull with the usual caveats about replacing the dreadful plastic clevises etc.

Dipsy, what a co-incidence, I too am originally from Scotland and many years ago was OIC of the model flying club at a very big airbase in Oxfordshire!
