Check your balls
On the aluminum swashplate for the Blade CP that is. I just had one on a servo link come out. It looks like it has been loose for awhile. I can just push it into the hole without resistance. The hole is stripped out. Another appears cross threaded. I found this out on take off this evening and the helicopter shot to the left. Luckily no other damage (especially my CF mains). I have removed the rest and put locktite on them but am not sure how to repair the stripped ones. Other ball-links I've seen online have very short studs and I don't think they would be long enough to get a nut on the inside. Also they are rather expensive being almost half the cost of a new swashplate. I think I'll probably try a little JB Weld but am probably stuck buying another aluminum swashplate.
