Turns out it's a Global Sky Raider that weights about 5 1/2 ls. It is a RCV60. He's using a 15 1/2 D/ 13 P prop. The engine turns it about 5200 to 5300 rpm. he's using an OS8 or F plug and it does have idle problems, drops rpm as soon as the battery is removed. He's going to try Hobbsy's Hanger 9 super plug. The engine tows the plane around with good authority.
